According to tattoo tradition, whenever a studio is the first to open in a new territory, it must honor that opportunity by creating something unique for the community. For us, that moment came in Old Town Helotes – a place that welcomed our vision with open arms.
We opened our studio during a Full Moon, and ever since, it has become our ritual. With 5 stations, 5 artists, and 5 days, we celebrate each lunar cycle with tattoos for $50 – a symbolic number that connects back to our beginning.
Thanks to the support of local businesses and sponsors, we are able to use only the highest quality, vegan, and organic products while still keeping the price accessible. This way, everyone can be part of this celebration, experiencing tattoos that are safe, meaningful, and created with intention.
What started as a tribute to our opening day has now become an exclusive tradition in tattoo history – something you can experience only at Altar Tattoo Studio.
