Why Derm Shield?

Derm Shield is a transparent, flexible, and protective film that creates the perfect healing environment for your fresh tattoo. Unlike traditional wraps, it:

Shields your tattoo from bacteria, dirt, and other contaminants.
Allows oxygen to reach the skin while letting excess moisture escape.
Reduces scabbing, itching, and discomfort.
Helps your tattoo maintain its brightness and detail during healing.

How It Works

Your artist will gently clean and dry the tattooed area before applying Derm Shield.
The bandage stays in place for 24 hours (it’s normal to see some fluid under the bandage).
A second application may be worn for several days, and if needed, a third one can be applied.
Do not keep a single piece on for longer than one week.

Removal

When it’s time to remove Derm Shield, peel it back slowly over itself, not upward, to avoid unnecessary irritation.

Important Information

Derm Shield is hypoallergenic, but if you notice irritation or an allergic reaction, remove it immediately and wash the area with mild soap and water. Avoid using Derm Shield on infected skin. If you have any concerns, consult your tattoo artist or a physician.
